Boogeyman II (1983)

I’d be screaming, too, if I was stuck in this “movie.”

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a winner. This is absolutely the worst of the Nasties that I’ve watched so far…and I only have three left. It is completely abysmal. The first Boogeyman movie was really bad, but this takes that one and…well…shows it to us again with some lame narration by the director and the cast of his unwanted sequel, who all end up getting killed by the same shard of mirror that killed everyone in the first film.

That’s right: Uwe Boll…I mean Ulli Lommel couldn’t be bothered to make a full-length feature, so he used up 40% of the time (some saint counted) with footage from the first movie. And this is STILL only 79 minutes long! Thankfully.

The story is that Lommel was forced into making a sequel because (inexplicably) the first one did so well. He had no interest in making it, so here’s this cinematic shmashmortion.

I’m not even actually done with the movie, yet. But I know it’s not going to get any better. In fact, it will probably get worse. I can’t believe that’s possible, though.

BTW, there’s a version of this movie that is 80% the first movie. Yeah. Lommel hated this so much that he re-edited it to be even lazier. He ended up wanting to make two more movies for this franchise. He managed one more…or maybe that was the re-edit. I don’t know. I don’t care. Just put me out of my misery.

LOW POINT: This movie is 40% of the first movie. Laziness is the low point.
